Everyone must be curious, as a factory specializing in the production of pliers, how to design, develop and produce a new product. Today I will take you to an immersive experience of how we develop new products.

Generation of creativity

Before we create a new product, there must be an inspiration or an idea.

Customer feedback

After our products are sold, we can often get feedback from customers, both positive and negative, for example. Some customers feel that a certain product is too large in size. Some customers feel that the location of this waving line is not very reasonable. Well, another client thinks he needs an additional feature. etc. We will filter out the effective feedback from customers, and then see how to improve it by combining our own production experience. An idea for a new product was created based on most customer needs.

Integration of previous sales experience

Our factory was established in 2001, so we have more than 20 years of production experience and sales experience. Sales experience includes domestic market and export market. In the process of sales, we often get a lot of suggestions and opinions from customers. As well as the integration of their own promotion and their own ideas in their own production process. I think this is a very crucial factor. As a factory, you can’t just produce previous products, you need to keep innovating, developing, and improving yourself.

Breakthrough homogenization and pursue greater profits

This is also very important. Because honestly, there are too many of the same products, if we keep making the same products. With the development of the regional industrial economy, our labor costs and material costs are definitely far lower than some countries in East Asia and Southeast Asia. So we must break through the homogeneity of products. The second is to pursue greater profits. This is very important for us and for our customers. If a customer has a distinctive product, it will break through the product barrier, and it will be able to obtain more and greater profits. It’s a win-win ending. The premise is that your product is perfect enough.

Development process

Sketch

The first is to draw a sketch, we will draw a simple sketch of our idea, and then the dimensions of each part are as accurate as possible.

Professional 3D modeling

Then describe your ideas and requirements as detailed as possible to professional designers. He will help you present your ideas through professional 3D software.

3D printing to see the actual effect

With advanced 3D printing technology, you can obtain a model of a product made of plastic parts.

Modify and improve, repeat the above actions until the goal is achieved

At this time, you will get a preliminary model of your product. If you are not satisfied, you can continue to modify it until you think it is perfect.
After perfecting, apply for a patent, appearance, and practicality, and protect your intellectual property rights.

Production process

Open mold production

We generally use precision die forging. Die forging refers to a forging method that uses a die to form a blank on a special die forging equipment to obtain a forging. The forgings produced by this method are accurate in size, small in machining allowance, complex in structure, and high in productivity.
The die forging process has high production efficiency, low labor intensity, accurate dimensions, small machining allowance, and can forge forgings with complex shapes; it is suitable for mass production. However, the cost of the mold is high, and special forging equipment is required.

Raw material purchase

We generally use chrome vanadium steel. Chromium vanadium steel, element symbol Cr-V, is an alloy tool steel with chromium-vanadium alloy elements added. After heat treatment, the hardness is above 60HRC (Rockwell hardness), and it has good wear resistance under specific working conditions.

Finishing molding

CNC machining refers to a process method for machining parts on CNC machine tools. The process rules of CNC machine tool processing and traditional machine tool processing are generally consistent, but there have also been significant changes. A machining method that uses digital information to control the displacement of parts and tools. It is an effective way to solve the problems of a variable variety of parts, small batches, complex shapes, and high precision, and to achieve high-efficiency and automated processing.

Choose a suitable handle or dip

TPR material (Thermo-Plastic-Rubber material) is a thermoplastic rubber material. It is a kind of thermoplastic soft compound with rubber elasticity and without vulcanization, which can be directly processed (such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, etc.).
TPR material is based on thermoplastic styrene-butadiene rubber (such as SBS, SEBS) as the basic raw material, adding resin (such as PP, PS), filler, plasticizer, and other functional additives to blend and modify the material.
The advantage is that it feels comfortable, anti-fatigue, and environmentally friendly.

Choose the right packaging method

According to customers’ requirements, we have bulk, card packaging, elevator packaging, and so on.
